The brand was created in the 1980s in California. It is taken from the name of its founder Shawn Stüssy. The success is directly visible, Stussy owes its popularity to Hip-Hop and Streetwear culture. The logo comes from the signatures that Shawn made on the Surfboards he made before the creation of the brand.
