Obey
OBEY Clothing was founded by Shepard Fairey in 2001 as an extension of his art and ideals. Originally, the "OBEY" sticker, created by Fairey in 1989, became a global street art campaign. Inspired by punk counterculture, skateboarding, and popular culture, OBEY disseminates political and empowering messages through its often sarcastic and subversive designs.
