For Lionel Vivier, Europa is embodied in a small tropical island in the Indian Ocean, located in the southern Mozambique Channel. Inhospitable to human presence, the atoll teems with fauna and vegetation as abundant as they are fascinatingly diverse.

For Guillaume Pascale, it is one of Jupiter's moons, whose icy crust would harbor a hypothetical ocean more than 100 km deep, that arouses fantasies and covetousness within the scientific community.

At once an inner and cosmic journey, the artist duo evokes a post-human imaginary where a collection of mineral, cartographic and audiovisual artifacts coexist, fantasizing about a lost memory, drifting in the space between these two homonymous insularities.
