Carhartt WIP Canby Swim Trunks, colorway Purple / White.

The Canby swim shorts are made from lightweight, water-repellent nylon taffeta with subtle contrast stitching. They also have two side pockets and a key holder in the back pocket. A woven square label sits on the back, with an embroidered lettered logo on the front.

Tailles

Every brand fits a little differently. Here's how to get it right, and if you're not sure, we're here to help.

T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets

The easiest way: take a piece that fits you well, lay it flat and measure its width from armpit to armpit, then its length from the collar to the hem. You'll know if you're after a close fit or something roomier.

Check the fit in the description: "regular" is a classic fit, "loose" or "oversized" is wider, "boxy" is wide and shorter.
When a model runs large or small, it's often mentioned in its description: read it before choosing.
The model's size is given on some product pages (for example "the model is 1.82 m tall and wears a size M"): a good benchmark.

Jeans and pants

Many pants come in W sizes (waist in inches), others in S, M, L. For W sizes, measure your waist where you wear your pants, or measure the waistband of a pair that fits you, laid flat (and multiply by two).

These conversions are approximate: 1 inch = 2.54 cm. The fit (straight, loose, tapered, baggy) makes a big difference, and it's given in the description.

Sneakers

Sizes are shown in US and European sizes (for example "10us / 43").

The best benchmark is the size you already wear in the same brand: not all brands fit the same.
Otherwise, measure your foot at the end of the day, from the heel to the tip of your longest toe, and ask us for advice.

Socks, caps, beanies

Most are one size: the size range for socks is given on the product page, and adjustable caps fit at the back.
